Marisa Keller offers riding
lessons at Hidden View Farm on a part-time basis, including flat, show
jumping, and cross-country. She has been riding horses since the age
of five, and teaching over the last 15 years. An eventing rider, her
philosophy always stresses the importance of the basics of dressage
for any riding discipline. Marisa pays close attention to her students
during each lesson and tries to set them on a course for understanding
their equine partners better, creating a safe and enjoyable future for
both horse and rider.

Whether a rider is seeking
a future in pleasure riding, or hoping to learn more about a discipline,
to compete, or further train their own horse, understanding the subtle
innuendos of the horse, why it reacts the way it does, and how we can
better create a partnership between horse and rider is key. During lessons,
those details are stressed, and combined with a program that challenges
each rider, while maintaining a comfort level within their ability.

On occasion, Hidden View farm
invites other trainers to provide instruction at the farm in a clinic
setting. Jon Holling is currently short-listed for the 2004 Olympics
and Jenn Holling is long listed for the Canadian Equestrian Team (www.willowruneventing.com).
Both riders share in the farm philosophies and provide clinics about
twice per year.

At Hidden View Farm, we emphasize
the health and well-being of the horse first, and that care is underscored
in lessons. Horse training and exercising is also available on a limited
basis, and help or advice is always just a question away.
